Welcome to the forefront of computational pathology. This booklet introduces the Computational
Pathology & AI Center of Excellence (CPACE) at the University of Pittsburgh. Our mission is to
transform diagnostic medicine by developing, validating, and ethically deploying artificial intelligence
(AI) to detect disease earlier, more accurately, more explainable, and more efficiently, ultimately
improving patient outcomes.
